Measure resonance frequency f1 using parallel tuning capacitance C1 and resonance frequency f2 using parallel tuning capacitance C2. Fill in the four values and click Compute to show the estimated parasitic capacitance CP of the inductor. The result might not be accurate if the simplified inductor model is not valid. This can happen for example when the inductor core material properties change with frequency, or when the used frequency is getting close to the self resonance of the inductor. |
