Calculate inductance of a coil wound on a toroidal core. Maximum usable current and power can also be calculated. This value is based on typical recommendations (150gauss @ 1MHz) of maximum field strength and is valid for both ferrite and iron powder materials. This is well below core saturation levels as core losses start dominating first. Core field strength is relative to current. To get an idea of the power level enter the impedance level. This makes only sense when using the coil as a part of a transformer. You can click from L to get the reactance value here but that does not make sense powerwise, because the real impedance is set by loading of ofter windings on the transformer.
